OWENSBORO, KY – Despite otherwise receiving glowing reviews from the community, Friday After Five has had one consistent complaint. Several attendees of the event say they occasionally doze off during the encore number due to their typical 10pm bedtime. Friday After Five spokesman Pat Patrickson said, “New York may be a city that never sleeps, but Owensboro is a city that does.”
If an Alan Jackson cover band can be found in time, the event will kick off with the 2003 Grammy hit, “It’s Five O’clock Somewhere.”
